Tyler Wolff close to loan deal with Belgian club S.K. Beveren

Steven Goff of the Washington Post reports that the homegrown will head to the Belgian second division team.

After a run of good performances with team USA at the CONCACAF U20 Championship, it looks like winger Tyler Wolff will be joining Belgian 2nd division side S.K. Beveren on a loan.

Wolff has played 256 minutes with Atlanta United this season and had two caps with the USA U-20s.

There currently isn't much information on the deal, but amid Atlanta United's injury crisis and lack of depth at the position, this sort of deal seems surprising to say the least. Since Wolff occupied a homegrown spot on the supplemental roster, this would not open a spot for a U22 initiative signing.

We will update as more information comes out.
