First Post of 17 Soccer!

Today is the start of a journey, one I'm very excited to go on. Starting this blog was a decision that I made based on two things: my love for soccer and my love for Atlanta United. I was also influenced by my love for the profession that is journalism. Ok, wait... that's three things.

I have felt truly blessed to have the support of friends and family who have always been there. Friends and family have encouraged and motivated me through everything I do (including the creation of this blog) and I just want to take this moment to say thank you. I want to give a special shoutout to my good friend Travis Hermel for designing the awesome logo for the blog (he also makes some really cool hockey jersey design concepts, so make sure to check him out on Instagram at gwtgrphx).

Anyways, it's time to get to work. I hope you enjoy the content!
